Berad® Red K 4196

Berad® Red K 4196 is a blue shade Naphthol AS pigment. It exhibits good allround fastness properties such as tinctorial strength and gloss, good light fastness and moderate solvent fastness propertires. It is a possible alternative to Pigment Red 57:1 types where an improvement in fastness properties is needed.

Red K 4196 (Pigment Red 146) is recommended for paste inks as well as for solvent-based and water-based packaging gravure and flexographic printing inks. It can be used for paste inks such as sheetfed, heatset, metal deco and UV curing (offset). Red K 4196 (Pigment Red 146) also can be applied for liquid inks such as NC alcohol, NC acetate and UV curring (Flexo). Other areas of use can include water based inks, textile printing.
